Weslynn At Hard Rock Café 3/20

If you have yet to check out local Phoenix band Weslynn, you’re seriously missing out. The trio performed at hard rock café for Alt AZ 93.3’s battle of the bands for an opportunity to play in Barcelona.
Weslynn consists of singer, Jared Geyer; guitarist, Greg Olin and drummer, Kevin Holmes and have a sound similar to that of Augustana.
The trio unfortunately had a short set, but that didn’t change their always flawless performance. They kicked things off with their new upbeat single “What Went Wrong” then went into “Hello to Love” followed by “Poetry In Motion” both from their EP, Dark Days. Then they went into a beautifully done cover of Augustana’s “Steal Your Heart”. They finished with their song “Shining Night” also from their Dark Days EP. They kept the crowd smiling and dancing with them the entire set, and you can tell how much fun they have performing.
In the end, Weslynn came in a very close second in the battle of the bands, but their performance really stood out in the lineup of performers.
Weslynn will be performing at the Kick Ass Spring Concert hosted by The Blaze 1330 AM on April 2nd, and they are a performance you don’t want to miss out on.
