Flight of Ryan Wants to Share the Love of Where They’re From

Oh college, it’s a time for discovery, discovering yourself, who you are, your likes and dislikes and in some cases, an awesome set of friends to start a band with.

Local band Flight of Ryan had a familiar start when they formed in the dorms of Northern Arizona University . The band consists of Sam Voas on lead vocals, guitars, and keys; Anthony Wallace on the drums; Danny Pabst on bass guitar and keys; and last but not least Colin Bresnahan on the guitar and keys. The four boys bring us electronic pop with a vibe that’s both iridescent and spacey that really takes you out of this world, pulling from influences such as M83, Passion Pit, and Jimmy Eat World and creating something that is entirely their own.  Flight of Ryan’s influences expand past other musical acts to the environment, pulling from the forests of northern Arizona and the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, placing you at the center of this aurora-filled dream.

This is a band who knows who they are and love where they’re from. These guys are definitely going places and had a great start to 2016 with performances at SXSW in Austin, TX last month. Their debut album From Cocoon was released December 11, 2015 and includes singles “You are Mine” and “Technicolor Souls” and if you’d love to hear them live swing on by to Blaze Radio’s Kick Ass Spring Concert Thursday April 14 at Last Exit Live in Downtown Phoenix.
