December is packed with concerts by local artists here in the valley. Here are some you don’t want to miss.

Starcross will be playing a benefit show for United Food Bank on December 4th with Mimelight, Something Like December, and Rara Avis at Club Red in Mesa. It’s a $5 show with all proceeds going directly to UFB. They will also also accepting cash and non-perishable food donations at the venue the night of the show. Doors open at 6pm. Vintage Wednesday will be playing two shows in the first week of December. They kick off the month by playing at Desert Eagle Brewing Co in Mesa on the 1st and that show starts at 6:30pm, and just a short 4 days later VW will be playing at Bergies in Gilbert from 6-8pm. The Analog Outlaws will be opening for Alice Cooper at Alice Cooperstown on December 19th, the start time for this event isn’t set yet, but more information can be found on the band’s Facebook page .

Paranova and Iron Kill will be playing a show at Joe’s Grotto alongside MUSHROOMHEAD!, 9 Electric, and Unsaid Fate. That show will be on December 15th with the doors opening at 5pm. More information on the event can be found here

Celebration Guns has a show on December 4th at the Crescent Ballroom with Snake Snake Snakes, Emby Alexander and Saddes with that show starting 8pm. They also have a second show this month at the Yucca Tap Room with Slowpoke, Hot Rock Supajoint and Snakeburner with that show starting at 9pm. More information on the event can be found here.

Fairy bones will be helping out Japhy’s Descent release their “Senseless” EP on at the Rebel’s Lounge on December 4th at 5:30pm, with Fairy Bones going on at about 10pm. More information on the event can be found here.

Interfate has shows on December 4th at The Rock Bar alongside Coop and December 10 with 36 Crazy Fits with the doors opening at 6 and Interfate going on at 9pm. On top of the recent tour they just played with the Ataris. Interfate has played alongside Puddle of Mudd at the Whiskey A Go Go in LA. They’ve played with bands such as Nonpoint, Wayne Static, Tantric, Taproot, In this Moment, and Fuel. Last year they released an EP Shedding Skin and they’re releasing a single very soon titled Tremble. More information can be found on their Facebook page.
